Sigeti Monika is a multidisciplinary artist from Novi Sad, Serbia. Her performative practice covers a variety of media from painting, drawing, collage, ceramic, textile, and photography to video.
Her work deals with a woman as a transforming object, destroyed, reborn and adapted to the new world. She’s playing with the limits of identity along with the boundaries of different media, especially collage. Using an auto-reflective approach to art - she’s expressing very directly her own experiences. Since 1997, she has exhibited nationally and internationally
and has been featured in numerous art publications. Sigeti has participated in multiple collaborative art projects in her country and abroad: Japan, Germany, France, Austria, Spain, Greece, Hungary, Slovenia, USA, etc.
